Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has decided to focus on the recovery of arrears worth crores of rupees pending from allotted civic amenities (CA) sites.
The BDA Commissioner has issued a public notice stating that all the lessees of CA sites have to clear the arrears within 15 days. The Bangalore Development Authority has allotted 1400 civic amenity sites for educational institutions, religious and social organizations on a lease basis which will be locked if failed.
“We will lock the buildings constructed on CA sites by the lessees if they fail to clear the arrears within 15 days. The lessees have to clear the amount without fail,’’ said BDA Commissioner Dr. G C Prakash.
